Hospital Radiant Heating
We all know the burden our hospital staff faces keeping the environment clean and protected from the germs and diseases affecting suffering patients.
Unfortunately, the heating systems installed in most hospitals make their vital task even more difficult as hot air is blown throughout the facility, transporting those germs down the hallways, into patient, treatment and surgical rooms and throughout guest and family waiting areas.
Radiant heat directs heat to cold objects rather than heating the air, providing a warm, comfortable and safer environment. By not blowing hot air throughout the facility, germs and diseases can be contained, protecting patients, guests and staff.
We offer several different solutions for hospitals:
- Earth Thermal Storage: Our under slab heating system is installed in soil or sand under a concrete slab building foundation. The result is that the ground underneath becomes an efficient, large mass of stored thermal energy. Perfect for new hospital construction.
- Supplemental Electric Radiant Heating: Our Architectural Series Metal Heaters can be added to any heating system to provide warmth and comfort in those difficult areas by the outside doors as well as offices inside Hospitals where just a little more warmth and comfort is essential. Perfect for both new construction and renovation to address problem areas.
- Electric Radiant Ceiling Heating Systems: Designed to provide maximum comfort at the absolute lowest cost, there is no wasted heat using SmartRooms Radiant Ceiling Heat System. Installation is simple: electric gypsum panels fit between the ceiling joists above the finished ceiling. A gentle curtain of warmth is then spread evenly throughout the room, now free from drafts and dust. Perfect for both new construction and renovation to address problem areas.
